Photographer &

cinematographer

Four years ago, my journey into photography began not with a camera, but with a fresh start in a new city. I moved to Newcastle to meet regional visa requirements—leaving behind my familiar surroundings and stepping into a life where I knew no one. In that solitude, I picked up a camera, and what started as a way to stay creative quickly grew into a deep passion.

As a self-paced learner, I spent countless hours mastering the craft, exploring the Hunter region through my lens. What followed was a wave of support from the local community. Families, couples, and businesses trusted me with their most meaningful moments. Through every shoot, I not only honed my skills but also discovered the rich cultural diversity that surrounds us. My camera became a bridge—connecting me with people, traditions, and stories that I may never have known otherwise.

Today, I proudly run PixelPinch Photography, capturing weddings, events, and life’s candid moments across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. I’m incredibly honoured to be named a Finalist in the 2024 Hunter Region Local Business Awards, a milestone that reflects the trust and support of the community I now call home.
